"To empower people in small cell groups to glorify God, evangelize, build each other up to spiritual maturity, serve the less fortunate and enhance Christian community."
That sentence is the first bullet of our CCV Purpose Statement. CCV was founded and exists as an overall framework in which to empower the church – small groups of people relating in biblical community – to affect their circle of influence for Christ.
CCV is a cell group church. We want to see people discover Christ, grow in Him personally and reach others with His message. Our Cell Groups are the context in which this happens.
Our Family Ministries Cell Groups are central to the ministry at CCV. Our groups are intended to be the heart of the church, in settings much like the first century church. Small enough for everyone to participate in ministry to each other, the group is a basic Christian community intended to be the church in nature, purpose and power. God's presence is the focal point of all of our groups. Together, our group members experience His nearness as He gifts each person to minister to each other, to help each other grow in our relationship with Him, and to share the good news of His salvation.
"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the day approaching."
